What is your return policy?

Leather and Awl will only exchange goods if they are damaged or defective and if we are contacted within 3 days of delivery. 

In circumstances where you consider that a product is defective, you should promptly contact us at info@leatherandawl.ca with details &  photos of the product and the defect. Please include proof of purchase date and proof of delivery date and include your order number.

The email and photos will be reviewed and then we will notify you via e-mail, within 5-7 business days, whether you are entitled to a replacement.

Once you have been notified that you are eligible for a replacement 

You must return the defective item to :

Items must be sent in original packaging within 3 days of you being notified that you are entitled to a replacement,  please include receipt or proof of purchase and your original order number in the package.

A replacement will only be sent once the original item is received.

  • * Earrings or Studs that have been worn do not qualify for exchange 
  • * All Sale items do not qualify and are final sale 

Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid  by the customer returning the item.

You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges incurred by the customer are not refundable.

  • Leather and Awl will cover the shipping cost for the replacement item to be sent to the customer.
  • We do not issue refunds unless we have sent the incorrect order or items.

NOTE: Once a package is shipped and you have been notified that your order is on the way , Leather and Awl is not responsible for shipping delays, Stolen Packages, Postal System errors, or Lost Packages. For any of these issues you would need to contact the delivery or postal system used.

Please review and ensure that you have entered the correct address. We are not responsible for non-delivery due to errors in the address that you provide.

What do I do if I never received my order?
  • Standard shipping does not come with a tracking number and can take between 10 -12  business days to be delivered depending on location.
  • Review and ensure that you entered the correct address when you placed your order
  • Contact the delivery or postal system used. There may have been a shipping delay or Postal System errors on their part (Unfortunately this is not something we can help with and you will have to contact canada post directly)
Where are you located?

We are located in Edmonton, Alberta

What is the product made of?

LEATHER: All of the Leather used in creating our products is genuine veg tan leather that are custom dyed. 

GEMSTONES: The stones used are bought from reliable source and are genuine semi-precious gemstone

HARDWARE: The majority of hooks, studs & backings used in the earrings are 925 sterling silver plated, some of our Gold colour hardware are stainless steel , but is always specified on the product details.

CLAY: High quality polymer oven baked clay is used to mold and create our clay components 

How do I check the sizes & Measurements of Products?

Under each product in the shop section, there is a drop down bar with the description of the product, this including the measurements/size

How do I contact your company if my question isn’t answered here?

We will try and answer you within 5-7 business days

What is your safety and security policy?

Any personal information that is share with me such as home address, contact information, email or phone and payment information will not be shared with any third-party under any circumstance. 

Your payment information is completely secure and will not be saved to the website.

What countries do you ship to?

Currently Leather and Awl ships to anywhere in Canada , the United States , the Uk

Do you offer Whole/Bulk sale prices?

Yes of course. If you would be interested in making a whole sale purchase please contact me at info@leatherandawl.ca for a wholesale discounted price list.

Orders must be 25 pieces or more to qualify for wholesale discount prices.

Do you do custom orders?

It is defiantly a goal to introduce a custom order section to the website in the future.
